Tanya Nichols serves as NCJA’s Grants Accounting and Human Resources Manager and brings 25 years of expertise in federal grant administration, compliance regulation and pre –and-post award management including budget development and administration. She has an advanced understanding of 2 CFR 200, organizational strategies, financial management, procurement and contracting. She has served as Business Administrator of the University of Maryland, Senior Sponsored Project/Financial Analyst for George Washington University, Senior Grant Analyst for the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and Grant Program Manager for Montgomery County Government. She holds a Master of Science in Management and Human Resources and Bachelor of Science in Management and Accounting from the University of Maryland. She has completed the U.S. Department of Justice, Department of Justice Grant Financial On-Line Training and is a member of the National Grants Management Association.
