Kemi Shonibare is the Finance and Membership Associate. In this position, she works as part of the finance team responsible for overseeing and reporting the financial related activities of NCJA. She also works with the Director of Communications in the management of the NCJA members/membership activities of the organization.

Prior to moving to the United States in June 2018 and joining NCJA as a full-time employee in December 2020, having worked with NCJA as a part time independent contractor (Finance Assistant) from mid-January 2019, Kemi had a long professional career in Nigeria, which spanned over 15 years in auditing and accounting in her role as a senior audit manager/accounting consultant.

Kemi received her bachelor’s degree in Zoology at the University of Lagos in Nigeria prior to discovering her passion for finance later in her early career. She received her accounting certification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. She is currently an Associate member of the Institute.
