Iyana Crawford
Program Coordinator
Iyana Crawford serves as a Program Coordinator for the Center of Justice Planning, where she offers crucial support in project logistics, tracking, and coordination. Playing an integral role within the CJP team, Iyana contributes to their engagement in technical assistance and strategic planning initiatives nationwide.
Before joining NCJA, Iyana held the position of Victim Specialist II with the Georgia Office of Victim Services, representing the State Board of Pardons and Parole. Throughout her tenure, she provided post-sentencing support to crime victims, their families, and the community. Iyana actively participated in coordinating various trainings and presentations, including presenting to the Georgia Attorney General’s Office on victim’s rights. Notably, during her time, she became a Victim Offender Dialogue facilitator, achieving the distinction of being the first facilitator to complete a Victim Offender Dialogue case.
Demonstrating her leadership capabilities, Iyana has successfully led teams and initiatives, fostering a collaborative environment. She firmly believes in empowering teams to maximize their fullest potential and advocates for a culture of continuous development and innovation.
Iyana Crawford earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Leadership from Hampton University. During her final semester of college, Iyana interned with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. She also holds a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology. This educational foundation has been pivotal in shaping her dynamic career, characterized by an unwavering pursuit of knowledge and a deep passion for Psychology and law. Iyana is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
