Denise Harris is a Grant Accountant for the VOCA Center. Her duties include providing accounting, budgeting, monitoring, analyzing, maintaining financial transactions, tracking revenues and expenditures, and preparing required internal and external financial reports.
Denise has vast experience managing federal, state, and private grants. She has exceptional skills in writing, reviewing grant proposals, budgeting, and developing outcome measurement systems.
Denise has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Delaware State University and an Associate's degree in Accounting from Prince George’s Community College. She has extensive experience in providing technical assistance and consultation to non-profit organizations. Denise has developed innovative community economic development, public health, workforce development, and social service programs to serve rural and urban low-income communities across the United States.
