Crime and Justice News incorrectly stated on Tuesday that Colette Peters is the first female director of the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Kathleen Hawk Sawyer directed the agency from 1992 to 2003. Peters was the first female director of the Oregon Department of Corrections.
